Period Cramps Solutions??
Question: I am having REALLY bad menstrual cramps. I have tried a heating pad [But only for about 15 minutes], a hot shower [I took 2] & Tylenol [I took 4 already today]. Is there ANYTHING that will help this?
Answers: Have you tried taking a Midol? Or working out? Usually excersizing helps with the Cramps
Sometimes a tea can help, heating pad, MEDOL, and that's all that can help. Cramps go when its relieved.
I usually have cramps on the first day of my period and then they usually go away. Try taking some Excedrin and then eat bananas. Or baby food bananas. Or any type of baby food that is high in potassium. Potassium is really good when you are cramping because it helps to relieve the cramps.
Use a heating pad, i know you said it didnt work, but you need to give it time, i use it for about a hour or more, turn it up as high as it goes, curl up in a fetal position and try to fall asleep. Midol did not work at all for me, but advil did. I also took several hot baths throughout the day. But like i said, just curl up in the fetal positon with the heating pad and try to take a nap. Also, try and eat something, i know from experience that when you are in such pain eating is the last thing on your mind. Maybe watch some tv or read a book to keep your mind off the cramps till you get relief.
Good Luck, hope i could help you.
