I have a problem and i need help!....girls only plz??
Question: okay i never used a tampon and when i tried it hurts so bad. is there any solution to that. and another problem is when i sleep when i have my period it usually stains my under wear. what can i do for that?
Answers: ok.. if you really want to use a tampon (which i definitly prefer), try again. get the directions out in the box. use either tampax pearl or playtex sport for super easy insertion. you HAVe to relax. if you are worried then the muscles will tense up and you won't be able to insert it. it may be uncomfortable because you dont know where exactly to put it. dont be afraid to look at it, you need to be in touch with your body, especially if you want to feel very comfortable with tampons. now try to glide it up there easily tilted back a little. after it gets in in should easily glide up.
now for your staining problem? where always pads with wings, and get them at a high absorbency so the blood can't leak through them during the night.
goodluck!
the first time i used a tampon it hurt me too. that's ok. it will take time to get used to it. after a while u shouldn't even feel it anymore. and i used to have the same problem. a solution for the overnight thing is to use an overnight sized pad. it's not exactly comfortable, but it will keep your panties and your sheets clean.
best of luck!
=)
Don't use cardboard, try Tampax Pearl its a more gentler glide in when you insert try using a mirror underneath you while sqwatting so that you can do it properly after a while you won't need it nemore to insert one in. As far as your panties, make sure to use a pad to sleep in with a longer fron and back (Always)
You're not putting it in right. Read the instruction on how to put it in. Tampons are not supposed to hurt when you wear them, you're not even supposed to notice they are there. The best tampon you can buy is Playtex gentle glide super plus, since you get your period heavy. When you're sleeping the best thing you could do is wear Aways with wings overnight pads. They're extra long so that it doesn't get on your underwear, get thin ones they won't bother you when you sleep. Pads suck but that's the best way to not get stains. Hope I was helpful =]
You may need to lubricate the tampon before inserting. Also, you need to make sure you are wearing the proper size.
As far as staining your underwear, use a heavy duty pad with wings (Always brand works best) in order to keep your panties pretty.
Good Luck.
A mirror can help for the tampon. And the leaking can be helped by putting in 2 pads
to get rid of blood stains- use hydrogen peroxide to get it out
for tampons u might be using the wrong size or wrong brand-
it shouldnt hurt if inserted correctly
sit on the toilet to insert it then before u pull the applicator all the way out give the tampon another nudge iwth it to force it higher up in u- then u shouldnt really feel it
keep in mind even if ure sleepin u CANT leave a tampon in for more than 8 hrs
The first couple of times trying to use one hurt for me too....it may not have been put in all the way, that does cause discomfort or pain. Keep trying, you'll get it right and it will be fine.
First make sure you are using the right absorbency. You don't want to use a super when you may only need a regular. Also when inserting the tampon, point the applicator towards your back as you insert, opposed to straight up and down. That way it will go in and not hurt. If it gets too bad- go back to pads. As far as underwear and staining.... soak it in cold water with a little soap.
ok u need a bigger pad that reaches to the back... try the nite ones... n the tampon i tried once and it hurt tooo so i haven't tried anymore there uncomfortable... lol mayb u need to get more opened ... stretch lik put one leg on th toilet n then put it sooo ur more opened ... n also make sur is in correctly
Use an always night pad becuase there's the liner that absorbs mor than the regular brand. If i was in your situation right now, i would try reading the instructions again. I don't think that everyone has probably had as much problems as you but i'm sure they didn't get it on the first try. It's okay, it is normal not to get it on the first try. Ask a friend if they can maybe tell you what your doing wrong.
Hope i helped.
There are a couple solutions.
There are overnight sized pads that you can use, and will almost always catch what you need them to.
Or, if tampons don't work you can always use something like instead softcup which is a small plastic cup that is inserted into the vagina and catches your period for you for up to 12 hours. Then you just take it out like a tampon, and if it's a disposable version throw it away, or re-usable can be cleaned and re-inserted. These work great for women with problems with tampons since they do not go deep into the vagina, but instead sit at the opening, and are made of a soft flexible material that allows you free movement.
i agree w/ everyone else, but i just wanted to point out that WEARING A TAMPON WILL NOT CAUSE YOU TO LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY! had to correct that first person. sorry.
well, if it hurts you didn't put it in properly, and were a super overnight with wings pad over night. Good luck!
DON'T!!!If you are a virgin don'y use a tampon because i don't think you would like to lost your virginity from a tampon! Also It's very dangerous to sleep with a tampon!!!!!!!Because the blood stays there for do many hours and you may get an infection!
