Since Epidural I have no sensation of a full bladder??

Question: Since I gave birth to my daughter seven (7) years ago I have a strange problem. I somehow lost the sensation one gets when having a full bladder. I am thinking it might have to do with the Epidural or maybe with the birth itself? It had never happened before and ever since that day I can only urinate by guessing that I might have to go - for example, after drinking a lot of water etc. Or, after a busy day of work I suddenly realize that I have not had to pee all day and just go and find out that I had to go very badly. Also, since then, I have frequent bladder/kidney infections - probable directly related to me not urinating often enough. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it or, maybe even know a solution to this problem?
Answers: I can't believe you've had this problem seven years and you haven't seen a doctor yet (am I reading that right?). The epidural could have messed with your nerves that tell you when you need to urinate but the drug should have wore off years ago. Perhaps they hit somewhere they shouldn't with the needle. The fact that you can't tell when you need to go could be related to or partially causing those infections. You definitely need to see a doctor, give them all your symptoms and tell them what's been going on.
Yes this could be from the child birth and epidural. You should go to the restroom every 2 hours so that u won't accidently pee ur pants! that would be embarrasing. Having no sensation is not good and u should tell ur doctor about this.
If you haven't seen a neurologist yet, you need to do so! There is serious permanent damage to your spine.
