Anyone willing to give advise/ after pregnancy??

Question: i am 19 years old, i just had a baby 9 months ago, before i got pregnant i was always very skinny like 100 pounds, i slowly gained 20 pounds before i got pregnant after i graduated then i got pregnant and ended up weighing 194 pounds! thankfully i have lost a lot never even have worked out or dieted or anything yet, i got down to 138, not im currently at 146, i am thinking about joining the gym called curves, its 34 a month and 100 to start with a year contract, i just moved into a house and we really dont have the money to do this but i am so mean to my boyfriend and i am so down all the time because im not back to work yet and im home all day with the baby, i want to get back down to like 110 again and i know this is the solution for me, i was wondering if everyone thinks i should do it anyway with our money situatiuon and put it on a credit card? i know if i lose weight i will feel better about my self and not be so self conscious, i just want to look like i did before baby-
Answers: You don't have to go to a gym - or pay out money to get exercise and lose weight. Most people I know lose interest in the gym or find it too regimented and difficult and then the money has gone down the drain. Exercise will certainly help you feel better. There are lots of exercises you can do in your own home. Walking is one of the best exercises you can do, and you can take the baby with you. Go for long walks with bubs in the pram or stroller. If the weather is not suitable you can find lots of exercises by searching on the internet. I went back to my pre-pregnancy weight by doing exercises in my own home. I put on over 3 stone with each pregnancy, but lost it all afterwards by just doing a series of exercises I found in a leaflet somewhere. I also cut down on any cake, biscuits and sweets.
hey, i know exactly how you feel
i had my daughter when i barely turned 20 i was skinny before and then gained weight.
i was able to get down to 120 and my body doesnt seem to like to go past that, but i was happy with it.
now im 130 and need to start working out.
BUT save money and just by the tae-bo work out videos....i swear they work wonders and you will be saving money. seriously you will lose weight and get toned! good luck
and working out just makes you feel better about yourself. dont be discouraged if you dont look like how you did before the baby. embrae that everyone's, even your body, will be different after having a baby.
Holy smokes, didn't your Ob-Gyn tell you that you were gaining too much weight? He should have warned you not to put on so much!

Just save your money and put the baby in a stroller and take a long walk every day. Watch your diet, too; eat a lot of fruits and veggies and cut out the junk food.

I lost all of my pregnancy weight and more by breastfeeding. It takes the pounds off quite nicely!
Don't put things like that on your credit card honey. Work out at home, sit ups, go for walks. Any excercise is good excercise. Eat healthier. you are beautiful the way that you are I'm sure, but if that's what you need to feel better about yourself than find cheaper alternatives. Getting back to work would help, no one likes to be locked up all the time.
