Is it bad if u wear contacts more than 2 weeks??
Answers: If you want to wear contacts that long, make sure that they are made for it and formulated to let your eyes breath. Such as Focus Night and Day ( http://www.nightandday.com/nightandday/i... ).
Some eye doctors still don't approve of 24/7 wearing of contacts, even if they are made to be worn that long.
Yes, the eye heath will be not as good. Use the silicone range. Like Purevision, nite and day, o2 optix, biofinity
It depends on the brand. I wear the contact lenses you take out at night and then put in again the next day. The recommended life span is approx two weeks but I wear them for around 4-5 weeks to be honest. Some brands hold up better than others (i.e. don't tear, maintain shape, resist protien build up, etc.) and also the over night solution you use can make a difference. There are disposable daily ones as well.
I prefer Opti-free Replenish because I can really tell a difference in the moisture level. Another bonus is they are scrub free.
I wear Acuve 2 lenses by Johnson & Johnson. These are neat because not only do they resist UV rays but 7/10 people who use them have better than 20/20 vision!
Most importantly if you are good about taking them out everynight they will last a lot longer and be more comfortable overall.
Hope this helps a little.
as long as you keep them clean and they are designed for 2 weeks then its ok.
As long as you dont sleep in them, they still feel ok to wear (not uncomfortable), clean them everyday, and you dont notice a decrease in vision (as the lenses tend to deteriorate after 2 weeks)... then it is ok.
But if you notice they are uncomfortable or the vision isnt as good than with a new pair... switch em out.
and especially do not continue to use them after 2 weeks if you sleep in them on a regular basis...
