Answers: It may vary from patient to patient. It depends on which way the eye is turned for one, and how deep the amblyopia or lazy eye is. This means how bad is the vision in the bad eye. I have corrected some people with lazy eye in contacts because they can tell a difference in their field of view, and then others, I otp'd not to fit them because they could not see a difference. The cause of the strabismus, or drifting eye, may be a factor as well.
