How do you take good care of glasses??
Question: i justt got new glasses!! im15..
i see a gap between the lens and the glasses thing, u can barely see it but is this a bad thing i think i put to much pressure on it when i was holding it.
Answers: There shouldn't be any gaps in your glasses. If there are then it's because the lens was made too small and you could end up losing it if it falls out. Extreme hot and cold temperatures will cause the lens to expand and contract and eventually the lens will become too loose in the frame. It's very important that the lens is tight and fitting properly in the frame the first time. If they are new then take them back and insist they remake them at n/c, as this is a fault in the manufacturing .
process. You would have to exert a lot of pressure on the lens to pop it out if it was made properly, So it is highly unlikely that it happened as a result of you holding it the wrong way. As for taking care of them, always use your case when not wearing, clean your lenses with proper lens spray (not windex ),use a proper cleaning cloth (not keenex,or paper towel as these will wear off the scratch coating) and always clean your lenses when wet, never dry. Follow these simple steps and your glasses should last you until it is time to change your prescription
if you only wear them when you need it and not wear them anywhere you go, keep it in the case.. prevents it from breaking..
