Do high index lenses make any difference on a -3 prescription??

Question: or is that prescription so low that there would be no point in getting high index?
Answers: You don't have a high enough prescription to justify the extra expense of high index.( Unless you are getting a large frame as there would be a lot more edge thickness.) Go for something small and save yourself some money by going with polycarbonate lenses instead. They are tougher with less chance of breakage.
Yes if the lenses are large, but not really if the frame size is small.
(with any Rx of significant power, the smallest frames *that suit you* will give the best overall appearance.)

If they are rimless and not too large, it would probably be preferable to go with polycarbonate lenses for their toughness, rather than the more brittle high-index plastics.
Most definately! Now I would go too much higher that a 1.6 just because you start risking a non-adapt with the Abbe value, but for sure... take it from someone who's vain!
