What are the odds of this case of gynocomastia clearing up??

Question: Age: 14
Condition has lasted for just over 6 months so far
Described by physician as slight case
Overweight between 50 and 75%

Is this most likely a self-resolving situation or would surgery be needed?
Also, would weight loss be an effective solution?
Answers: Gynecomastia doesn't really clear up on it's own. You probably have actual breast tissue and not just extra weight. The breast tissue only goes away with surgery. My brother has this and no matter how thin he is, he always has some breast tissue. Weight loss only gets rid of the extra fat.
im gonna say that weight loss could help but id need to know more about this desaese to say anything else.
I had a gyocomastia and it cleared up fine. Although mine wasnt fat, I just had cartilage build up behind my nipple. Its alot better now, cleared up fine.
