I have problem skin, i have used all types of face washes and creams but nothing seems to work. please help??

Question: i have heard there are certain anti biotic you can take do these really work...or does anyone know of a powerful solution??
Answers: A dermatologist may recomend:
Tetracycline, Minocycline ,Doxycycline ,Erythromycin ,Trimethoprim or
Azithromycin
Or accutane wich is a retinoid or which means at molecular levelis equal as vitamin A.(analog vit. A)

All rx by dermatologist and follow very closely since although very effective can have serious side effects especially in woman since they may harm a fetus.
alot of peeps out there say proactive but i don't know what is it actually can someone explain
Try washing your face every 2 days, sounds gross but try it...If it gets a little bit better, you just have really sensitive skin (I think anyways) Here's why I think:

I used to try everything too....things stayed the same. I then went a few days without washing my face ( I didnt go anywhere and I washed it with water in the shower) I got better :P I am sure there is sumthin out there thatll work eventually but I think it is the chemistry of the skin that suffers. Antibiotics work for the infection that sets in and spreads when you have a break out. try them out. remember to moisturize! A light lotion to seal in a bit of moisture from washing your face. Dont moisturize if you arent washing your face tho. I havent figured out how to fit in SPF on those days without break out. Plain old water is your washing buddy :) And drink lots of it! It helps.
Have you tried Pro-Activ?
I use it, IT WORKS VERY VERY WELL
I HAD FACE PROBLEM FOR A LONG TIME AND THIS IS WHAT HAS WAOKED FOR ME FIRST GET THE DOE FACE WASH AND LOSTION YOU WANT TO APPLICE THE FACE WASH AND SCRUB REALLY HARD THEN U WANT TO LEAVE IT ON FOR 5 MIN. AFTERTHAT U WANT TO RUB JUST A DROP OF THE LOSTION ONTO UR SKIN U DO THIS TREE TIMES A DAY IN THE MORING AS SOON AS U GET HOME FROM SCHOOL OR WORK AND RIGHT BEFORE U GO TO BED BUT RIGHT BEFOR U PUT THE LOTION ON U WANT TO WIPE YOUR FACE REALLY GOOD W/ A OXEY PAD YOU CAN BUY ALL OF THESE PRODUCTS AT WALMART AND THE WORK LIKE MAGIC YOU WILL SEE MOST OF THE RESULTS WITHIN 2 WEEKS ANOTHER TIP IS BEFORE YOU WIPE YOUR FACE W/ THE OXEY POP OPEN ALL YOU ZITS THE LAST TIP IS BEFORE YOU GO TO BED PULL BACK YOU HAIR IF POSSIBLE IF IT I TO SHOT WEAR ONE OF THOSE STRECHY HEAD BANDS TO KEPP THE HAIR OFF YOUR FACE.
ive heard proactiv really works. ive tried it and it cleared my skin completely. but after a few months i started getting an itchy rash on my face. i stopped using it after a month or so and started back on it thinking mayb proactiv wasnt the reason, but i got the red blotches again. i have very dry and sensitive skin so that might be the case. but my sister, and friends use it and their skins have cleared significantly. I use neutrogene rapid clear. u will see quick results. anything wit salicylic acid will work so look for that as the #1 ingredient in any cream. acid kills bacteria in the skin and thats exactly what u want to happen. u want to get the bacteria out of your skin thats causing ur skin problems. hope this helps.
good luck!!!!
Have you tried Cetaphil face wash? It's super gentle and you don't have to use much. I have horrible skin - some spots are oily and make me break out, some spots are dry and flake. I have tried dozens of cleansers and lotions and Cetaphil face wash with Aveeno sensitive skin face lotion with SPF works the best.

Make sure you keep your skin moisturized. It may not make sense to put lotion on already oily skin, but your skin produces excess oils to try to lubricate dry skin. Keeping skin clean and moisturized is the best way to reduce and prevent breakouts and calm irritation.

P.S.
I've tried anti-biotics, both topical (like gels that you spread on your skin) and oral. They do work, but they can also cause burning and discomfort, as they did for me. Also, taking something long-term changes your body chemistry - which is not a good thing.

Try using Cetaphil and Aveeno products for a little while. If they don't work, another over-the-counter product may. You can always ask a pharmacist and/or cosmetologist for free advise before paying to visit a dermatologist.

Always wear sunscreen - even in the winter!
