Should I limit my milk drinking??

Question: I like to drink 2-3 glasses a day. I simply enjoy it. But is it to the point where I should stop and/or cut down from it? My diet is balanced and I exercise regularly. I've read so many articles saying that it's either bad for you or good. It's almost like the whole debate on how much water is good or bad for you!
Answers: It's great that you can drink that much milk. It's full of calcium, which will help you protect your bones against osteoperosis. I am allergic to milk, so I have to get my calcium from other sources.

If you are worried about the kilojoule intake, just cut back somewhere else. Not eating meat is a good way to eat less kilojoules.

There can be a lot of animal fats in milk, which can cause high cholesterol, but if you eat good fats like olive oil and avocado in your diet, this will help reduce your cholesterol.

Keep drinking milk. It's good for you.
I don't think that drinking milk is bad for you really. I guess it depends what kind of milk you're drinking though. Whole milk would obviously have more fat content than skim or 2%.
Also, I know it sound all preachy and stuff, but I've heard that milk (and other dairy products) can cause cancer because of the hormones that the cows are given. They stimulate the cows' mamary glands and cause the cows to produce double the amount of milk. Since farmers have started this breast cancer rates have saured. Maybe consider switching to organic milk. Personally I think it tastes better and also the expiration date is always way longer than regular milk.
Anyways, sorry this got so long for a simple question!! Hope it helped a little!!!
Milk is good for most people. Except people who are allergic to it.
However, it doesn't matter who you are, the human body can not handle large quantities of Lactose all at once.
One example: Some high school students were making idiotic bets. They had some students go into the locker room and skip an hour of class. They gave the student a gallon of milk. Then they said you have exactly One hour to drink the whole gallon. I bet you Ten bucks you can't do it with out getting sick.
The students who took the bet ALL vomited when they were done drinking the milk. None of them were Lactose intolerant. It is just that almost no human on earth that I know of can handle that amount of lactose that quickly.
If you consume too much too fast, your body will reject it, just like it does with alcohol.
drink it but don't over indulge, I have a sisterinlaw who drinks at least that much every day for the past 30 years and she's good.
If you enjoy it and its not affecting your health, you may as well have your milk. If you are concerned about it being bad for you(which it kind of is if you are getting a really lot) Do try to drink organic milk when you can, its much less likely to give you health problems, and if you are drinking whole you might cut down to 2%.
I don't think it is excessive, but what type of milk is it? Whole, Skim, etc.

If Whole milk, you should try to reduce down to 2% or more.

Oh and my daughter is 19 and she drinks at least 1 gallon (no I'm not kidding) of milk every day. She doesn't drink any soda either.
Assuming that your glasses are 200 gm or 7 ounce (200 ml) glasses that works out at 400 to 600 ml a day or 2/3 to 1 pint a day which is fine. You have to get some calcium from somewhere. Skim milk is much better than whole milk as it is fat free and cholesterol free.

Drinking more than 3 glasses a day would be overdoing it.
