I feel like dying. I can't handle being sick this long.??

Question: Okay I've been sick for two weeks. The first week just felt like a cold and I handled it fine. Second week started to feel really bad.

On Monday I was so sick I drove self to ER. The ER doc told me I had a viral thing PLUS a sinus infection. I was given percocet for pain, a rinse, flonase, and 5-day course of zythromax antibiotics.

So the percocet I am not taking. I took those Monday and Tuesday morning and felt like a walking zombie weirdo. I've taken hot showers and slept a lot and have been taking the antibiotics and flonase.

Today I feel nauseated, head still hurts and I had some diarreha.

WHEN WILL I FEEL BETTER? I feel like I'm dying.
Did the ER doctor misdianose me? LOL?

I haven't spent time with son. He's been with dad. Haven't been to work all week cause been too sick.

HELP...words of comfort?
When will I feel better?

Thanks
Answers: After being sick for longer than 3 days, most people will forget how it felt when they we're actually fine. Calm down. I know how it feels and what you are doing is worse for your health. If you think about your sickness too much, you could eventually get depressed. Try to take your mind off of it (I know it's pretty hard) and whenever you can, watch a movie or TV.
you have a son
get better to take care of him if nothing else
you sound mopey and i can't say i blame you but come on it will get better soon
you should have taken (be taking) the drugs the doctor gave
doctor's are usually right and this sounds like he was
you could have been better already!
i hope it ends soon though
hopefully soon sounds like a flue if bt we go to walk in clinic cheaper less aggravating then er and maybe get better anti biotic
