Is dying like fainting??

Answers: I don't know for sure but my grandmother died on the OR table and they brought her back. She said she could see what was going on in the room when that happened.

So that would tell me no it is not like sleeping
I would think so. I have ever fainted before and the experience is not so good. I would not like to go thru again. Scary.
think when you die you don't wake up...at all
yeah, except it lasts a little longer
How would anyone know, if your answering this then your alive no one can really prove what it's like to die. seriously....duh
all i can say fainting is like a deep sleep
no its pathetic as there's no reason to die
I don't think anyone can answer that. Dying might feel like getting bitten by a thousand snakes and all you can smell is that blue port a potty stuff. Who knows. I don't wanna find out.
nobody can tell......
you would have to talk to a dead person who has fainted before.
at one point...it could be
NO when you faint you eventually wake up.

When you die, YOU NEVER WAKE UP - YOU ARE DEAD!
can we ever tell?
maybe. But dying come from several causes. Dying because of severe blood loss may be like fainting. But you can die of suffocation, massive trauma, in your sleep, from brain failure, being burnt, etc... So there are as many way of dying and thus there are many different feelings one experiences before the brain shuts down for good. So better enjoy life right now, at least you know how THAT feels....
maybe! But i wouldn't know i haven't died yet!
Not on the physical plain, you only recover from one of them here.

Plus there is no pain in fainting although they both are instantaneous when they happen.
I hope not, I get nauseous before I faint.
I dont know, ive never died before.
I'll tell ya one thing- I don't wanna find out.
you try it and then come back and you tell me.
let me understand the question better, you mean the 'feeling of dying' if it's like the 'feeling of fainting?'

well, dahling, that depends... some people faint and just never wake up anymore...people would say that the person just fainted but in reality it's because of a heart attack
