How to heal bruise??

Question: I recently got strep throat and the doctor pretty much gave me a shot in the @ss!! I didn't know what I was in for until they were like okay, this is a fanny shot.. but back to the point, The Dr warned me that there might be some bruising and there really has been. It looks disgusting. Is there anyway I can speed up the healing process or make it less visible? how long does it usually take to go away?
Answers: Usually, ordinary bruises can easily be remedied by applying ice on top of them. I had terrible bruises on my left leg caused by falling ply woods. I applied 'aloe Vera' on it and slowly it went off. Now it's pretty smooth once again.
WHO GONNA SEE IT? CANT U LEAVE IT COVERED FOR YOPUR BOYFRIEND FOR A WEEK?? I KNOW HARD BUT HEY DONT M,AKE THAT PERSON THINK IT IS DISGUSTING
There is no way to speed up the healing. You have bursted capillaries and only time will heal them. Until then, keep your pants on. ;)
I thought this was the appropriate site for your problem... DrBunn.com/bruise.htm
2 weeks or so to heal. Ice for the 1st few days on occasion. Not much else.
