What's best solution for painful heels??

Question: pain upon getting out of bed, standing up after being seated for more than 30 minutes
Answers: Sounds like a heel spur. Your best bet is to go to the doctor. Arch supports will help too.
ice them
you may have spurs let a doctor check it out.
It sounds like maybe plantar faciatis. Sit on the edge of a chair, couch, whatever and gently stretch the front of your foot (like under toes) up using a rolled up towel or strap or whatever. This stretches the ligaments and tendons that become tight and cause pain on some people. I had problems with this for a long time, from very flat feet. Also HORSESHOE shaped arch supports(not the regular wedge shaped ones) in your shoes will help greatly.
Yep, gotta use ice after you get home and sit down.

then see a podiatrist. If you let this go, you will have chronic pain all your life. GET TREATMENT TODAY.
i have the same problem. It may be your job, if you are walking all the time. you may have a high instep and need to buy dr. schols inserts for your shoes. Other than that, I wish I knew more. When I asked people they thought i should go to the doctor It may be diabetes. Just a thought.
