Has anyone ever used contact solution that has an expiration date that was past due??
Question: What happened to the contact lenses after the cleansing/storing of the solution? I am just curious before I try it because I do not want anything to happen to the contacts. Mine has expired since last July I think..
Answers: Probably not a good idea. The perservatives break down and allow bacteria and crap in the solution.
i used eye drops this morning, which expired last year, but the cap was still sealed etc....nothing happnened.
but i will not use what you have, it is just better not to....
Did you have the lens in the solution since July? Or, do you want to clean them now in that solution? Either way you are taking a big chance with the health of your eyes. Your eyesight is so important, please don't take chances.
