Answers: there is a sleepy time tea you can get at any store, It didn't work for me....sigh....but it worked for the lady who recominded it to me, she was very happy with it....you drink it about 2 hours before bed and it is supposed to help you sleep....as for me, I'm still trying to find something to help me without a prescription...or downing niquil every night....
lavender will help - get oil from the body shop use it on pulse points and pillowslip - also I would get up earlier you dont need 9 and a half hours sleep. eight is plenty
It sounds like you're looking for a natural remedy. There is a natural kind of sleeping tablet/capsule/liquid, I think it's called valarium and can be bought in most health food stores. I suggest you go to your nearest health food shop and ask them for advice, they probably sell the tea mentioned by someone else here too. I know how you feel I haven't had a proper nights sleep for just over 8 years now and can no longer work.
YOU MAY TRY CUTTING OUT HOT BEVERAGES OR DRINKS WITH CAFEINE INSIDE.
sorry to here that , i have the same problem when i don't work nights. not much help but your not the only one.
When i wasn't working i had trouble sleeping too. You could go to the gym or do something mentally draining , i found that helped me to sleep.
Most of the time I have trouble going to sleep even though I am tired due to my thoughts and, anxieties that continue for hours.Try to come up with solutions to your questions.I am not saying that you have to resolve all of your problems before you sleep but,try and get as much in-put to your questions.Tell your self that with a good nights sleep you may wake up with the answer in the morning.Prayer is also the best form of meditation for me.Say your prayers.Remember that peace in your mind will give you peace in your sleep.Practice this and you will find sleep.Good luck
If you are on the go 'til 12, it's no wonder you are wired when you go to bed. Chill and prepare yourself for bed; dim lights, put on the pj's, sex, etc; go for a light stroll, fresh air before bed helps me sleep, writing is an absolute Godsend for me, reading.
try valerian tea from health food shops. also dreemon tablets are brilliant but you can only get them from manor chemists.have a nice warm bath with epsom salts (from chemists) in it and then get straight into bed. make sure your room is well aired .leave the window slightly open even if its freezing outside!. make sure the room is dark as possible. if noise is a problem wear ear plugs.sprinkle a couple of drops of lavender oil on your pillow. hope this helps.
