I need to know??

Question: i heared that if u drink tea after ur meal it suck the iron from the food but if i put some milk in the tea dose that make the tea less powerfull then before and dose it stops sucking the iron after the meal?
Answers: If you drink tea after a meal, not only will it suck the iron out of the meal you just ate, but it will suck out most other nutrients and vitamins as well. Adding milk to your tea makes the two liquids recact in a reverse osmosis pattern. What this means to the average person is that if you take in 100mg of vitamin C with your meal, the potion will actually TAKE 100mg of the vitamin from the stores in your body. If you enjoy a nice cup of tea after your meal and would like to continue drinking it, I suggest you replace the milk with 4 tablespoons of fresh ginger juice per cup of tea. The ginger juice not only makes the vitamins and minerals your meal reach your bloodstream and therefore your muscles faster, but it will make them more potent and therefore make you healthier.
I never heard that. I drink ice tea with my meal all the time to keep my stomache from geting upset. If you 're worried, take iron suppliments.
Tea does not suck the iron out of food. In fact, drinking something warm after your meal aids in digestion. Enjoy your tea :)
