Damaged my finger??

Question: well.. a couple of months ago i smooshed my finger in one of those machines that takes in papers.. after a while it healed i guess
but now.. everytime when my thumb is really cold.. or when i press on it.. it hurts pretty bad.. even when i hit something really lightly with it.

i'm wondering if its broken or something.. i'm thinking of getting an x ray on it to see what's wrong. but before i do, i want to see if theres any solutions that could help..
Answers: Go see a doctor
It sounds like you possibly have some nerve damage, definitely go to your doc right away.
That'll teach you to stick your fingers where they don't belong!!

But seriously, go to a doctor.

I don't why people ask total strangers for advice on health related matters!!
An X ray is wise as you could of had an unknown about fracture there. Sounds like the nerves that were damaged are beginning to function a bit again and you have some over heightened sensitivity. This can occur as nerve tissue repairs and grows back. It can remain for a short while or permanently, hard to say as it depends on the individual.

Homeopathic Arnica cream is very good for this type of injury and well worth the purchase even if it does turn out to be fractured as it will still help.

Hope this helps you friend.

Definitely get an X-Ray. It's always a good idea with an injury like that to have a professional opinion. Don't gamble on your health...ever.
see the fingers are fragile
so much in fact that any damage will continue to hurt months afterward
i punched a wall, middle finger hurt for a good 7 months felt like it might have been broken It wasn't
check it if you want, but remeber if it was actually broken you would have clear signs
a couple of months and ur still waiting...go and check it man
