Need to fall asleep, fast!??

Question: I'm four months pregnant so I can't take anything for sleep anymore, but I have a hard time shutting my brain down in order to go to sleep. I need any suggestions you have. I've tried the warm milk and hot shower thing; so far those don't work.
Answers: Just like animals, our bodies respond to natural cues in nature that subconciously tell our bodies to wind down and prepare for sleep.

I would recomend dimming the lights an hour or two before you would like to go to bed, this simmilates dusk and the sun setting as it does in nature.

Also try turning the tv volume off or down and just quiet down the house as much as possible. If you'll notice outdoors, as night falls and animals go to sleep, it gets quiet. Same theory for us.

One last thing, instead of being online, watching tv (especially adrenaline pumping movies), or playing games, try laying down and reading a magazine or book to relax and slow down your body after an exciting day.

I hope these suggestions help.
Best of luck!
