My daughter has had a fever for three days that wont break with tylenol or motrin??

Question: My daughter is 5 and the symptons started Monday when my daughter was sent home with a high fever (102) on Tuesday I took her to the doctor and ruled out strep, ear infection, etc. The fever keeps spiking when the tylenol or motrin wears off and has been as high as 103. The lowest I have been able to get the temp is 99.4 She is eating very little, but I am able to keep fluids in her. There are no other major symptons that she is complaining of, but something has to be causing the fever. Any thoughts?
Answers: How is she acting? Is she lethargic or is she still able to play. Doctors always say fever isn't necessarily a bad thing, it means the body is trying to fight something off. I'm a nurse but if my child had a fever that wouldn't go away I would keep going to the doctor until they figured out what was going on.
ummmmmmm well to b honest idk? but what i would do if i were u would b to take her to a diferent doctor/clinin or hospital for a second check up .
I don't know if there is a way to break it except time and medicine, just give yur child some popsickles and luke warm showers when she is spiking
If you haven't consulted the doctor again, I would. Let them know that her fever only goes down with the tylenol and is still staying between 99-103. I'm sure they will want to put her on antibiotics.
