Am I going to die??

Question: Ok, silly me just electrocuted myself trying to plug in a DVD player. I know it's unlikely that additional injury will occur after the electrocution, which wasn't that severe anyway, but are there any health risks I may need to wonder about?
Answers: A grammatical point here - electrocution is a portmanteau word derived from electric and execution. It means death by electricity. As you are still alive, I can concur that you received an unpleasant electric shock.

Electric shocks vary in their intensity depending on the voltage and current. If your skin is dry, only a small current will flow. Furthermore, you are at greater risk if both hands or arms are touching the live wires as the current will flow through the heart.

I hope you are recovering now.
NOPEE. youll be fine=]
No you'll be fine. I used to work for SONY and we've had that happen at the plant.
There is nothing to worry about and there will be no after effects from this accident.
If that was the case, we would have shortages of electricians. Im sure they have been electrocuted hundreds of times and they seem to die of other natural causes.
you'll be fine. you'd know if it was serious
If you put a lightbulb in your mouth and it doesn't glow, you'll be fine! No, seriously, nothing to worry about.
No! You are fine
