Can mad cow disease transmit via milk??

Answers: Mad Cow disease or (Bovine Spongiform Encephalitis) cannot to my knowledge be transmitted through the cows milk. The disease lies in the nerve tissue of the animal...specifically the tissues of the central nervous system (brain & spinal cord). So you would have to eat those types of tissues of the animal to contract the disease.

The way it was transmitted from cow to cow is that farmers would grind up the remains (internal organs, bones, nervous system tissue) of the cows after they were slaughtered and feed the remains to the other cows. The practice has since been banned.

Hope that answers your question.
No
um, no you can't. Gotta eat the meat. (Mostly brain and spinal cord, but it is in other tissues later in the disease).
