Can lactose intolerant people drink coconut milk??

Answers:  lactose intolerant mean that you are not producing the enzyme that breaks down milk...since coconut milk has no lactose whatsoever (did not come from an animal) you are free to drink it...... :)
Lactose is from a living being. Coconut should be ok....however, if you are truly lactose intolerant, try goat's milk...that seems to do wonders for those with the intolerance.
We make ice cream, cheese, and yoghurt from it and we give it to babies that cannot drink soy, or cow's milk, and even sometimes breast milk.
