Question: Ok i am afraid that i might have breast cancer, my aunt recently died from it, and i need some info on it, like signs symtoms, stuff like that. Any answers are really apprectiated! Thanks!
Answers: Well if you feel that strongly about this matter maybe you should talk to a doctor about it. It's a scary thing to go through. But the best answer i can give you is go at talk to your Primary care Physician..He/she will give you better advise about what to do..I hope you don't have it. And i hope you go and talk to your doctor. Better be safe than sorry..Good luck and God Bless.
More often than not there are no signs or symptoms that will alert you that you may have breast cancer, unless it is very advanced. I have seen many cases where the doctor was not able to palpate a mass, but it was there. That is why regular mammograms are recommended. Breast cancer is very treatable and curable when caught early. If you are really concerned about it, get a mammogram and use this mammogram to compare to subsequent mammograms as it makes it easier for the doctor to see any changes early on.
except for feeling a lump, and not all lumps are cancer, there are really no signs and symptoms, what makes you think that you might have cancer? are you having any problems? you do not mention your age, but I suggest that you follow up with your doctor and make sure you get mammograms when you are suppose to. also breastcancer.org is a great site to read. most breast cancers are not hereditary
