What happens??
Question: I am taking prescription meds for hypothyroidism, and I would like to know what could happen if I quit taking them? They don't make me feel better in any way, but the DR says that my test levels are ok now. Will I die?
Answers: We're all gonna die someday. Your condition, going untreated can cause some serious problems. The smart thing to do is to do what the doctor tells you and not try to determine whether the medication he's giving you is working.
Your best bet is to read up on the condition you have, so you can be more intelligent about it and understand fully what the doctor is trying to do for you.

You really need to discuss this with your doctor.
