How long will it take me to loose 20 punds the healthy way??
Question: i am going to go to they gym 4-6 days a week. mostly for cardio.
i hae healthy diet planned out.
pretty much portion control and no junk food.
i am only drinking water and milk(skim)
and i am 5ft 4in and 130 pounds.
how long do you think it will take me to get to 110?
Answers: The healthy way, is more about exercise and less about restricting food.
You do not mention exactly how long you will spend at the gym. You need, at least, 40 minutes to make an impact on calories. I recommend a 40 minute walk on the days you do not work out in the gym.
People differ, however, on that routine I would take off about 2 pounds a week. However when you get down to 120 you will need to up your time a little more to get the same results as when you weighed 130. Also remember that you do not stop exercising and eating sensibly when you reach your goal. Weight maintenance can be more difficult than weight loss....
This time of year can be very difficult to stick to plans with regards to both foood and exercise... You have not only those holiday meals and treats to side step... this is also the time of year that many people catch a bug... that plays havoc with your exercise routine.
That said ... do not give up. With luck you can get the weight off in 12 weeks. Set your sights on Valentine's Day for a celebration.
8 to 10 weeks
You actually only need to lose 10. Usually the average is 2 lbs. a week.
depends on you eating habbits. but as the previous person said 8-10 weeks.
a little longer than a month, more likely two
