Did i have way to much food for dinner??

Question: i had a medium bowl of oatmeal and i had a banana

the reson is i said that is because i feel bloated but then again i put milk in my oatmeal and i am lactose intolarent what do u guys think
Answers: It doesn't sound like you ate too much, but only you can tell. Remember to stop eating as soon as you're not hungry anymore. This usually happens well before you're full.

Also, as others talked about, it could be lactose intolerance. You may also be gluten sensitive, which oatmeal has. But don't jump to conclusions either. You could try the same meal again it a smaller portion.
No, that's about how much everyone I know eats. But if I was lactose intolarent, I wouldn't have put milk in the oatmeal. Maybe that's why you feel bloated.
well maybe the fact that your lactose intolerant is the problem
You should feel full without feeling bloated with the measurement of food you described. Being lactose intolerant does cause bloatedness, maybe you can sprinkle beano in your milk or food or perhaps try soy milk in your oatmeal?
You feel bloated because of the milk. They have special milk on the market for those who are lactose intolerant. I'd check into it if I was you & spare yourself the discomfort.
.using real milk and being lactose tolerant and knowing deserves being bloated
That's more like a snack than a dinner...
Oatmeat always makes you feel bloated. It is the nature of oats to soak up moisture. I always feel they keep expanding inside you. You should try a different cereal. ALso banana's are really filling to, as is milk. It is just the nature of the food.
That's not too much food for dinner. Even if you drowned the oatmeal in full fat milk, it's less than 500 calories.

I'm going to go with the lactose intollerance angle. However, if you were using the high fiber steel-cut oats, and don't normally eat a lot of fiber, it might be because of the relatively high fiber content of dinner. You might want to drink some more water, and take some Lactaid next time.
If you are have a problem with lactose then that's why you feel bloated. Use some applesauce instead of the milk...I do and it works for me.
