Are lattes bad for you??
Question: If you have a light breakfast and then have a small non-fat latte is it bad for your diet? It's just milk and coffee.
Answers: It is bad when you are lactose intolerant.
Good luck!
well they range from about 150-250 calories - so thats quite a lot considering it's just a drink.
But I don't think they have as much caffine as ohter types - so probably better for you in that respect
A tall, non-fat caffe latte from Starbucks has 126 calories. It is not too bad for you, and being made with skim milk makes it alright, and perhaps good for you. If you want to cut out those calories, you could switch to caffeine pills. Crush them up and put the powder on your tongue for a quick intake of the caffeine. It's cheaper, safe as coffee, and 0 calories.
I read an article on MSN Health once that said un-filtered coffees (such as the espresso used in lattees) are less healthy than filtered coffees (like Folgers, etc.). I guess when you don't filter the coffee there is a higher risk of certain diseases. Also, caffine intake is higher than in normal coffee. So, it's not the healthiest thing ever... but at least it doesn't have a lot of calories.
No, they are not bad for you, however if you get it with whole milk, any flavorings and high caffeine, it can be fatty. To make it better, ask for a skim or non fat decaf latte with either no syrup or sugar free syrup.
