Muscle milk to lose weight??


Question: does it help u lose weigth and if it does should i drink it before or after i work out
Answers: No, horrible idea. Muscle milk has way too many calories and too much fat. I wouldn't even take muscle milk light, even that has too many calories and too much fat compared to other protein shakes out there.

If your trying to lose weight, you should use amino acid capsules instead of protein shakes unless your using protein shakes as meals. Thats exactly what my trainer told me and he wasnt too crazy about me replacing my meals with protein shakes.

If your trying to lose weight, you should be only having 1000 calories about (for a female thats about 5'6 and 150 pounds). Dont go under 1000 calories, this is what my trainer told my two friends who are girls who signed up with him. Also do cardio 4x a week for 45 minutes and do weight lifting. Take the amino acids after you lift weights.
