Feeling too full??
Question: I just started a diet--this is my fourth day. I'm doing very good with my healthy meal planning, my exercise, etc etc etc. I have a cute little lunch meal that I make. It's two small flour tortilla wraps with cheese, chicken, and ranch sauce with milk. I feel fine when I eat it, but about five minutes after I'm done and I've put my dishes in the dishwasher, I feel stuffed, like I ate too much. I know when to stop eating because I feel full, but why is the full feeling delayed so much? Is this a bad thing?
They're small wraps, about 5 inches, they're not the big 11 inch kind.
Answers: Maybe its just your stomach shrinking, Ive had this happen to me before, Ill eat and feel fine but then 10 mins. go by and all the sudden I feel very full...I think its just settling in or something, your fine, nothing to worry about.
This is why many people do over eat because you don't feel full right away,only if you have stuffed yourself while eating do you feel full and then you know you have defiantly overate. You're on the right track just keep going and you will reap your reward. GOOD LUCK ON LIFE'S JOURNEY!!!

You may be eating too fast. It takes about 20 minutes from the time you start eating for your brain to tell your stomach that it's full.

drink a lot of water before, during, and after the meal
after you eat, go for a long walk or do some form of exercise (but wait a while before)
