Is this a healthy diet??

Question: I weigh 123 lbs, and I am 5'5, I want to lose 13 pounds and weigh 110. Is this a healthy diet.

Breakfast- Special K Bar w/ Lactaid Low Fta Chocolate Milk
Snack- 5 Cheese Cubes
Lunch- Quarter of a sandwich on thin italian bread w/ lowfat liverwurst
snack- special k bar
dinner- rice krispies cereal w/ strawberries in chocolate milk and a special k bar

What are some good exercises?
Answers: Well I'm not sure it's a good weight to be at 123 pounds and 5'5 . You may want to gain a few pounds to be healthier.

Your diet right now sounds pretty restrictive, which is why you might be staying at 123 pounds. If you eat things with more nutrition in them, you might find you'll gain a bit more, but it will probably be weight that your body needs to function properly. I don't know if it's functioning optimally right now. Not that I'm a nutritionist, but if you feel sluggish or tired with this diet, or if you find yourself catching colds easily, then it might be a sign that you should beef up your immune system with a healthier diet. You might gain a few pounds of water and muscle weight, but you'll be a much healthier person.

Here's what I mean by healthier meals:

Breakfast: a bowl of high fiber cereal such a Shreddies
I'd try to stay off the Special K bars as they have a lot of sugar in them (so does chocolate milk for that matter, but it's better to cut out 1 food at a time so you don't feel deprived)

Snack-an apple, an orange, some carrots, some green beans, cheese and crackers, or peanut butter and crackers

Lunch-a full sandwich with whatever meat you choose, maybe throw in some sliced cucumber, lettuce and onions in there too (the italian bread is great...kudos to you for eating liverwurst, I don't think I could stand eating it. If you like it, better luck to you, although it's alright if you want to put in other lean deli meats too)

snack-celery, carrots, salad, apple (sometimes just one fruit can make you more hungry though, so I'd go for the veggies instead, or do both a veggie and a fruit)

dinner-Well your dinner here doesn't sound like it's offering your body much to work with. The strawberries are great, but the other stuff doesn't sound like it offers a lot of nutrition. You want to have a healthy meal that provides protein, iron, or carbohydrates. Such meals can be anything from chicken and potatoes, to whole wheat spaghetti, to fish.

A few hours after dinner, you might want to have another snack, such as a salad or some fruit. You could try getting a blender to make up some strawberry smoothies and throw in some flaxseed for a really healthy drink.

For exercise, I'd just suggest some simple activities, like walking 20-30 minutes a day, or doing some pilates.

With such a diet, you may find your concentration improving as well as your immune system, and your overall health.

Hope this helps! Good luck :)
N.O..but r u crazzyy gurl? u shuldnt stress your self out like that.. You arent even eating real food. I think you should eat healthy food. go on sites and find healthy food. your like living on snacks and milk. Excersises like pushups, situps, running, walking, jogging..
that is the silliest question i have read here. no it does not cover all the food groups, or enough servings. who the heck would wanna be a waif of 110 at 5 5 unless you are under the age of 14 for crying out loud..... eat some real food and everything you listed should be a snack for the day.
yes the diet is healthy as for exercises my #1 choice is pilates! look into it, (winsor's pilates to b specific) good luck! oh and about the calories make sure u get at least 1000 calories a day, healthy calories that is!
you are at a perfect weight for your height. you should not be focused on losing weight. just make healthy choices when it comes to eating, excersize regularly, and you'll be fine
