On a diet similiar to South Beach. Low Calorie/Very low fat. Lot's of fruits & veggies & good carbs only......?


Question: nothing white, no sugar, limited salt. I am losing weight, and I know this is a healthy way to do it. I am so sick of eating fish, chick. breast, salad, veggies, skim milk. fruits all the time.
What could I make that is good and would give me a change of taste occasionally?
Anyone know of any good (lunch/dinner) recipes with some taste? Thanks very much.
Answers: Though you need never be hungry on a low carb diet, it can become a little boring after a while. The answer is to be adventurous and experiment with recipes.

Use far more spices and herbs than you normally might. Also, use different types of cooking methods. Spices, herbs and cooking methods add a great deal of variety to any diet.

Aromatic Indian spices for example are simply wonderful for changing plain chicken or fish into appetizing meals with lots of taste!

The Internet resource listed at the bottom of this reply is good for low carbohydrate recipes, food lists and in-depth information.
