How can you lose weight with pocs??
Question: i have pocs and it is nearly impossible to lose weight
I eat 1300 cals a day and eat very healthy and drink hardly anything but water and a bit of non fat milk every now and then
I eat lots of veggies, protein, some dairy, lean meat, i eat lots of fiber
I run 20 mins 5 times a week and do 20-30 mins of pilates 5 times a week
I ahve been doing this for about 4 months and have only lost about 10 pounds if that!!
Is there anything else i can do to help me lose more weight a little faster?
Answers: I think you meant PCOS (polycycstic ovarian syndrome)? Well you are doing everything right. Having PCOS makes it difficult to lose weight because of the hormone imbalances. I'm sure you are losing weight at a much slower pace than you would like, but 10 lbs is an accomplishment and you should congratulate yourself. The slower you take off weight, the more likely you are to keep it off for good. Even if you are not losing pounds you are still improving your health and that is what is ultimately important. You might try uping your exercise just a bit...maybe 30 mins of running instead of 20. Whatever you do, don't give up!
