Does "milk" really do a body good??
Answers: truthfully, it hasn't been completely labeled as beneficial. yes, it does have calcium, vit d, etc, but some studies actually show that our bodies don't digest them properly. if anything, it keeps you hydrated. humans are kinda strange though... do you realize that we are the only species that drinks milk long after infancy? lol not to mention, another species breast milk. yum!
Technically yes, but you need enough Vitamin D to use it (be outside for around fifteen minutes to ge tthe vitamin from sunlight).
No, it is from another aminals milk for a calf that grows into a 1,500lbs. It is a ploy. It does nothing for your body. You need sunlight and you can take vitamins if you are worried about getting the Vitamin D you need if you are in alot of contact with the sunlight. Also alot of fresh food have vitamin d in it. If you drink alot of milk then you get bigger that is suppose to do to a calf.
Calcium for bone strength as well as the vitamin D
no, milk is a good source of vitamin D. It is a insouluable vitamin, (not soluable in water, so it stays in your body) meaning that if you can't get enough from your diet, then a good sun exposure of 10 min/day is a good source. But the majority of the population is lactose intolerant (close to 75%)depending on your race (Asian and Latino American is 90%). Milk also has a good amount of fat. So it really depend on the individual. If you can't tolerate lactose, then Vitamin D added OJ is a better alternative.
yeah
