Which has more fat? ice cream or popsicles??


Question: which is healthier?

i know that ice cram has milk in it (which is fattening)
but popsicles have sugar (which is also fat)...

but i'm not sure which one has the least fat
Answers: Ice Cream has more fat.

What I do is make homemade Popsicles by just freezing some of my favorite juice.
Ice cream has more fat then popsicles. when in doubt check your labels..they will tell you how much.

fruit juice or sugar-free pops are healthier, kind of ice cream matters to(vanilla vs. rock road) try to get less fat/calorie varietys, or simply cut down on servings, most people don't read how much a serving actually is (me included).
I'm guessing the ice cream because it also has a ton of other non-healthy stuff for you. Popsicles are mainly sugar and water.
It depends on the brands, but i really think its the ice cream.
Usually ice cream has more fat than popsicles, however it deoends on the popsicle. Check the nutrition info on the boxes. Nice to see you're caring about your health =]

I think if you read the labels, popsicles have no fat. So unless you are eating fat-free ice cream, go with the popsicles.
Hands down - ICE CREAM. It's so good, but not so good for you. Real talk, I saw that one large cookie dough blizzard packs about 1500 Calories! After I found that out, I retired ice cream except for birthday parties.

And, popsicles had more sugar. But sugars are not fat. These things will give you a sugar rush for sure, make you feel energetic, but it is mostly 'fake' energy - the burn out that follows weighs more than the energy it gave :P

Indulge on sorbets; these are usually made with fruits and far less added sugars than popsicles (they have lots of artificial flavoring too). Even sorbets will have sugars in them because of the fruit.

Fat is not a bad thing to consume; it provides energy. Of course there is consuming and consuming. But natural fats are a great addition to a healthy diet for sure.

So there is no harm in having ice cream, no harm in having a popsicle. Just as long as you moderate it all. My choice of guilt free dessert would be sorbets.
