just like any non-diet, non-water beverage, too much can cause problems. caffefine aside, skim milk does have calories (about 90 per serving). if you're putting sugar in too, that has calories. if you're going to starbucks and getting fancy drinks, those have calories from the syrups, etc. so, yes, too much could cause you to gain weight but you can watch it by using sugar free stuff and skim milk.
