What do you think about this meal plan??
Question: HEALTHY OR NOT
breafkast - 1cp. organic oatmeal, 1med banana, 8oz low cal/sugar OJ
snack - Raw vegetables, 2tsp. natural peanut butter
lunch - 2oz. Roast beef sandwich, 1sl fat free cheese, 1 med apple, 8oz. sugarfree lemonade
snack - 1.5cp strawberries, 6oz fat free yogurt
dinner - lean cuisine salmon w/ basil (220cal/6gfat)
snack - 8 animal cookies or rice cake w/ 8oz soy milk/fat free milk
Answers: That's pretty good, but I would recommend more veggies. And make sure the bread you're eating for your sandwich is whole grain. Also, maybe adding an egg white or 2 in the morning with breakfast instead of the OJ would be good. More protein in the morning jump starts your metabolism for the day, and helps you feel fuller until lunch. Don't forget a few days a week to add in some legumes too. Just make sure to include a lot of variety so you don't get bored.
It looks like you are sacrificing protein. You definitely need to add protein to your breakfast (try 4 egg whites with some diced veggies). Two of your snacks could use more protein, as well. Finally, your frozen dinner is probably too low in calories and too high in sodium.
Also, for breakfast, I'd lose the orange juice, and replace the banana with an orange.
Overall, it looks like you're on the right path, with 6 small meals, and I think you'll have success, if your calories aren't too low. Make sure you're eating enough and getting enough protein so you don't wreck your metabolism.
:D
I think Imma copy this too.!
Is this to lose weight >_>?
xD
Hooray for healthynessness!
That seems healthy. You have the fruits and veggies covered, but have you thought about weight watchers, or counting calories? Will you be eating the same thing everyday? That is a good way to get burned out on a diet plan. You need variety to keep you motivated.
Not bad...just make sure your cals aren't too low (not below 1200 a day).
Good luck!
Seems like a good menu for at least a day but it is not something you will want to do everyday. You will get tired of it and grab stuff you like. You need to plan like a whole week out.check calorie count though seems like it may be in 1200-1500 range.1200 ok if you want to maintain weight 1500 may put some on.
Pretty well balanced, but you need a vary the dinner meal with a lettuce salad with tomatoe or yougurt with some cereal!
But the whole menu is very dietitic and balanced because you don't sacrifice proteins, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins, you got it all in that menu but in small but balanced portions!
Good Luck with your menu and hope my answer helps you to guide your menu in a better way!
See ya!
