I am 200 pounds, 27 yrs old, large frame, 5ft 7 female....I've been running off and on for two years now. I've?

Question: lost close to 40 pounds and kept it off, but it seems as though I can't get past the 200 pound mark. Not only that, but from running my calves became extremely large, so I quit running so much so I didn't resemble a man...lol. What can I do to shake up my routine? Are there any other ideas on what I can do? I can't lose anymore weight doing what I'm doing...(combo of atkins diet/low calorie diet) and running/walking 45 mins 5-6 days a week. Anyone have any suggestions?
Answers: What your doing is great, which is a lot of cardio, but in order to burn more fat, include some weight training in your routine. Weights build muscle, and the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn, even when your not exercising! Try to alternate weights and cardio, everyday and see if it works out for you. Remember when you do weights, you must have at least a 24 hours rest so your muscle can rest and grow. Try it. I hope that helped
First, I've never seen a woman run so much she looks like a man. Don't worry about your calves and start running again.
Second, you are not creating a calories in\ calories burn deficit. Either you are cheating on your diet or you are not working out enough or a combo of both.
You need to re-evaluate your food portions and the time spent exercising.
do 500 sit ups dailyu should weigh 155 lbs
