Hi I need some help?? Please??
Question: Okay at school I will be having fruit for lunch because I choose not to eat at the cafeteria because it is all just empty calories, french fries, hamburgers, all really fatty foods that I don't want to eat.
If I have breakfast, say Special K with skim milk, fruit for lunch with, and a regular dinner will I be able to lose weight for a wedding in October?
The wedding is October 13th and I want to lose about 10 pounds for the event, I am 157 lbs now and I would like to get down to 147 lbs.
Answers: First of all, make sure the dinner is balanced. You need to aim for about 1400 to 1800 calories intake but keep the carbs and proteins balanced. Add more exercise to ensure you reach the target. Take the long way between classes, walk to school if feasible, always take the stairs and avoid snacks at all costs.

well yeah its a long way til october you even might lose 15lbs and dont forget FF,hamburgers etc. are your enemy eat as much fruits and veggie as possible (im a vegterian)

ooh yes and if you are 156-153lbs in middle of november try working out swimming is and climbing but if u cant just jog good luck :)
Be sure to start a simple exercise program such as walking. Walk about 25 minutes a day and should shed 200 calories. Don't eat those calories. Take smaller servings of everything and no eating between meals. Go for it---you can do it and then maintain it.
Just a regular dinner can make you fat by itself. Special K is junk food. Just read the ingredients like sugar. Skim milk is very, very, very fattening. See site below and learn why.

sounds like a really healthy plan, as long as you stick with it of course. and maybe try going for more walks or a jog every other day too?
I think you'll be ok with this sweety. I'm Not sure you're getting enough calories here though. Try keeping track of your calories for just a couple of days to see how you're doing eating wise. You shouldn't be eating any less than 1200 a day. Your foods are good healthy choices I just think you need a little bit more. But you also need to do a little exercise. You only have a few pounds to lose try 30 to 40 minutes 5 days a week. Walking is an excellent choice or jogging if you like that. If you follow this you should be losing 2 to 3 pounds a week so you'll be ahead of yourself by Oct 13th. Have fun at the wedding and good luck with the new eating plan. You'll make it easily.
