Stretchmark treatment???
Question: my cousin used 2 be chubby, and when she lost weight, she ended up with stretchmarks on her legs and thighs. is there a way 4 her to get rid of these stretch marks??
Answers: Dont listen to that girl about mederma! ITS OVER RATED, AND VERY EXPENSIVE. I had my son, an all I wanted to do was get rid of my stretchmarks, I used mederma religiously.. It doesnt do A DAMN THING.. just lures you into spending money. Aveno Deep moisturizing lotion works decently (not alot) to help smooth them, after long time use. They will never completely go away. Tanning doesnt not help either, it will help Temporarily but it will actually wind up making them worse. Your best bet is to just apply lotion EVERYDAY to keep them smooth and less visable (but like I said, Im goin on 3yrs of doing that) and theyre NOT GONE... they never will be.
theres no way to fully get rid of stretch marks..
but cocoa butter lotion helps make them lighter and less visable
or they have something called strivectin but its alot of money
also i found tanning makes them go away alittle too...
there are no creams or oinments that will help, even though they say they do. there are some laser treatments but I'm not sure how well they work.
I heard that u can use coco butter but i think that she wuld have to use it before you get the stretch marks because once u get them i dont think that u can remove them with out laser or something.
If you go to Walgreens, they carry an ointment called Mederma. It's primarily for scars.... a little expensive... but you don't have to use much at all, and it works great!!
