Going on a fast, what are the best liquids??
Question: I'm fasting for the next two weeks, what kind of liquids are the best? Milk, tea, water, soda, etc?
Answers: What is the purpose of your fast?? If you are seriously going to fast for 2 weeks I suggest that you fast on FRESH fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. If it is a detox that you are doing you need the fiber in the fruit and vegetables to get the stuff moving out of your GI tract. You might also want to add some lean protein a couple of evenings a week also. Good Luck!!
if you're trying to detox too, don't drink milk.
for a fast, drink a heap of water, perhaps some fresh fruit/veggie juice to keep energy levels up. tea is also great - something like green, oolong or white tea can boost energy levels [you feel sluggish for first few days of a fast].
try not to drink soda as it can ruin your teeth and your bones.

Actually water....... lots of water. Water fights sickness (including getting sick to begin with). Its pushes fats out of the blood stream and helps you loose weight. If helps keep you alert. You name it. Anyone who has ever been in the military will tell you that they urge you to drink lots of water. Milk is a great idea because it carries alot of the nutrients that your body requires. Lastly any kind of fruit juice....... AND THEN....... I would stop at the local Irish tavern and call it the best fast I ever had............. I need a beer.

dear frien,nothing is better than water.drink a small cup of lock warm water for breaking your fast. pleas don't drink tea .it reduces the iron of your blood.eat Dates instead and a glass of milk.it's compeletly healthy.
