Stretch marks??
Question: i'm 16 and have ugly stretch marks on my shoulders. i don't know what to do t get rid of them. losing weight does't work because there're still there. my mom says its because i have wide shoulders but it is very embarrasing to wear swimsuits with strecth marks on your shoulders. HELP PLEASE!!!
Answers: I found a great article about helping with stretch marks without trying to sell you some type of lotion or cream. I listed it below.
Basically everyone will at one time or another get stretch marks. The best thing to do is to keep your skin moisturized (cocoa butter is fantastic, baby lotion will also work).
Don't go out in the sun unless protected with sunscreen (the stretch marks will stay while and your skin will tan if you don't.
You can also apply a bit of foundation to cover your stretch marks. Add a tiny bit of foundation to moisture lotion and that will help cover them yet not look like your covered in make-up.
When at the beach you can wear waterproof make-up and you won't have to worry about it wearing off. Just remember to also were sunscreen.
By the time you're done growing in a few years, they'll probably be gone. Don't sweat it....lots of other girls have the same problem.
I have no idea how to get rid of them but I'm 15 and I have them on my thighs....I HATE THEM!!!!!! LOL I'm glad I'm not alone in this. :)
COCOA BUTTER ♥ baby
try Palmers cream for stretch marks
hey i have them too on my shoulders. some times stretchmarks on the shoulders or arms , are hereditary from the fathers side.or if you change weight allot, like i did , Ur skin stretches out. i went to my doctor this is what he told me. you can never really get rid of stretchmarks with out expensive surgeries, but you can greatly reduce the appearance by applying creams that have cocoa butter at nite before you go to sleep , and in 3 months u will see they faded. and also try to get a tan so they look less noticeable. i know its a pain in the *** to have em , but just be confident in Ur swimsuit , its not that big of deal allot of people actually have them.
Try cocoa butter
i'm 32...had my daughter when i was a teenager...still havent got rid of them....
try some sweet almond oil...you can buy from GNC and put on after shower or bath....it will help hydrate your skin without being oily.
try cocoa butter or any kind of lotion or cream that will minimize scars
