How can I get rid of a stain that is on my tooth??
Question: I have a stain on my front tooth and i really want to get rid of it but i don't know how and it is really bugging me. Please help!
Answers: It depends on what type of stain you have, it can be Intrinsic (iside the tooth) or Extrinsic (outside the tooth), If its extrinsic eg like stainging from tea, coffee, red wine or smoking, this can be removed by the hygienist. prob best to see your dentist to have it checked,
Again if its intrinsic staining you would have to discuss this with your dentist, some ppl develop staining on teeth for various reasons, too much fluoride when the tooth was developing, knock to the face again when tooth was developing or from certain medications.
Best advice - go speak to dentist and he or she can advise you best!
a club hammer will get shot of any stains
Not sure how bad the stain is --- if a dental cleaning doesn't take it off or lighten it...
You can get your teeth bleached which will whiten them...but that only lasts so long..
if it's ONLY stain you can try brushing teeth using a squeze of lemon and dash of baking soda. perfect for whitening teeth
If the stain is from drugs forget it.
Try a little baking soda on your toothbrush, it tastes bad but brightens your teeth. If its caused by actual damage to the tooth enamel then it calls for a visit to your dentist to decide what can be done to fix it.
if it is an extrinsic stain, you just scrape with a pin or needle, it will go away, if it is an intrinsic stain, you need to go to a dentist.
I have staines on my front teeth too, and i saw a hygenist about them. She used something to cover them up, as they couldn't be removed. I brushed the stained a lot to try and get rid of them, but that's the worst thing you can apparently, because you end up scrubbing away the enamal, which i've done.
So whatever you do, don't scrub the staines with your toothbrush, as it will make it worse.
I'd see you dentist and a hygenist, and have them covered, it doesn't last for long, but you can always get the staines re-covered, or have your teeth whitened.
Good luck.
Try teeth whitening, or go ask your dentist. It really depends n the type of stain. Like I have a stain on my tooth from when I was little and my adult teeth were forming I had a fever. But the only way to get rid of stains like that is dental work. other stains like coffee stains whitening should get rid of.
Your best bet is to try whitestrips over the counter on it.
too l8 all of the above
