What's the recovery time for a root canal??
Question: I'm getting a root canal on a friday but that saturday is my b-day and I'm just curious if it would be ok for me to still go out. Will I mess anything up?
Answers: I had a root canal, and it was fine after just a few hours a little sore around the gum. But they did my root canals in 3 different sessions.
It completely depends on the procedure, the condition of the tooth and how well the dentist does the root canal. I don't want to scare you, but I have not had good experiences twice with root canals although I had one good one. So it really depends..hopefully you are one of the many who has no problem. If I were you I would reschedule the root canal till after your b day just to be safe.
