Does insurance cover braces for looks??

Question: I have small spaces in my teeth, i could get crowns but the decision makers prefer me to keep my natural discolored mishaped teeth for unknown reasons. I am wondering if most insurance companies cover braces for looks only with spaces about this wide on most teeth: |_| |_|
Answers: Every insurance company offers different levels of benefits. If your workplace has a plan that covers orthodontics, it usually doesn't matter if it's for cosmetic reasons. Some plans have an age maximum, such as 18 or while still in school, while others cover at any age. You need to check with your insurance company what benefits they offer for your plan.
My insurance covered $1000 so they may I think it depends which insurance company you have

God Bless!
no, you have to have orthodontic insurance,
Not Usually since orthodontic work is consider optional and cosmetic.
I just got dental insurance. A lot of good that does me since I just got my braces off. Anyways, my insurance would have covered around $1800. My braces were $4005.
