Are 'waterpik® cordless dental water jets' good to use if you have braces??
Question: If brush my teeth regularly, is it just as good to use the waterpik as flossing and using the little brush the orthodontist gave me?

I am a dental hygienist and work in a dental office that does a lot of ortho.....I absolutely think that a waterpik is a must have for anyone with braces, more so than an electric toothbrush or flossing. I have found that it is easier and faster to use than floss so people are more likely to use it. A lot of my patients who use them have told me they are amazed with what the waterpik gets out even after they think they have brushed thoroughly. My husband used one when he had braces and his gums stayed very healthy and he did not have one cavity after his braces came off.
yes, its probably the best product you can buy when you have braces, it will improve your breath and your dental health greatly!
