Can your body digest gum??

Question: What will happen if i have swallowed gum? Will i die?
Answers: Gum is not digested but it'll be passed in the end. No, you won't die. Many people have swallowed their gum, & are still alive, including me.
No, but you might fart pink bubbles for awhile... KIDDING!!!!

Seriously, though, I used to swallow Bubble Yum all the time when I was 5 years old. My mother used to get so mad! Anyways, I'm 35 now, so I guess I haven't been poisoned.
Depends how much of it. If it is just a couple of sticks of lets say wriggliest or something like it probably not. Would you be able to digest it possibly but most likely you will pass it in between your excrements. The problem with gum is not the gum it self but the sugars that are left and can cause you ulcers due to the fact that they do stick to your intestines but you do need allot of it for that to happen. Our stomach acid for the most part brakes down gum but not in large quantities specially when young. Best advise don't give little kids gum and don't swallow gum.
it taking 8 years to digest is false, it takes 1-2 days to digest like everything else.
No you won't die. Your body will digest it within 7 years. It'll have no effect on you what so ever
