Remedy for Myopia??
Question: I have really bad eyesight, when I wear glasses (which is almost never because of how thick they are), the prescription is a little over - 8.00 in each eye.
Now I know that there will be a slew of people that will want to tell me how lasik, glasses or contacts are the only ways to fix this. I don't buy this, and quite frankly I am not looking for a lecture on what and why for the conventional route of correction.
Is there a nutritional, supplement, or some other alternative way to reverse myopia? If you know of any, please give me some information.
Please note, I am NOT interested in answers that will go on and on about conventional ways of correction.
Thanks

While Tyrone has good intentions, he's only half right on those. Beta Carotene (which converts into Vitamin A in the body), Eyebright, Lutein, Bilberry, Zeaxanthin, and most antioxidants are very beneficial for the health of the eye, but you shouldn't expect them to improve eyesight.
Unfortunately, how good or bad your vision is is based on the physical distance between the retina and lens in your eye... but eye health is more the actual health (chemical difference) of the tissue in your eye itself.
It is very possible that having healthier eye tissues may prevent your vision from getting worse, and there is a slight chance that it might improve your eyesight, but it's not common to actually improve eyesight (as much as I wish it did) ;-)
