Answers: Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day, either hot or cold according to your preference. Avoid acidic and carbonated drinks that might irritate. Suck on lozenges that contain a mild anesthetic and/or sugarless hard candy that stimulate saliva production.

I agree that it may be that the membranes are dry. If you have a humifidier in your home, use it.
ZYCAM!!!!

get well & break a leg!
zicam swabs
drink a cup of hot tea with honey in it and gargle some vinegar - it burns like nobodies business, but it works like a charm
Tea with honey.
Suck on a fresh lemon.
Throat lozenges.
Warm water and salt gargle.

Any one of these might help, but you really need to rest!
Gargle warm salt water
Drink hot tea with lemon and honey
call your Doctor
okay...you will think I am crazy, but I promise this helps...before you go to bed, take a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar. If you do not have that, than go for the regular vinegar....do it again in the morning. This kills the bacteria in the back of your throat that is irritating it. Next thing....eat a clove of garlic. This will give your immunes system an immediate boost and hopefully stop the sinus drainage that may be causing the throat irritation. Also, do not burn any candles, incense, or spray air freshener. These can irritate as well. Drink plenty of water to keep your body hydrated enough to heal itself while you get enough rest. Hope this helps. Hope your performance goes fantastic tomorrow!
